The game ends when all the tiles are spent and the player with the most points wins. The beauty of Carcassonne is that although its rules are simple there are crafty strategy options. Do you claim small areas and cash in quick points, gamble on bigger areas for sizable rewards, or block your opponents to stifle their points earning potential?
